As you’ll no doubt have seen, the current US Administration has been discussing Automotive Tariff’s recently, suggesting amended Duty Rates for Vehicles and Vehicles Parts entering the USA.

TATC has been closely monitoring the situation and we are pleased that clarity and certainty has now been found.

In terms of the USA, TATC is pleased to confirm our understanding that all Vehicles imported into the US over the age of 25 years old will remain subject to the same Duty Levels as per previous, this being 2.5% of Vehicle Value.

We’d also like to confirm that our Canadian Clients remain unaffected and the previous duty levels for Import into Canada remain the same (6.1%).

Fundamentally, its business as usual!

We are delighted that the US Administration is keeping the current Duty Rates in place, meaning Classic Vehicle enthusiasts across the USA can continue to enjoy their passion without any change to the previous Duty Level.
